Installation of new traffic signals, mast arm poles, emergency vehicle video detection, and pedestrian visual and audible signals for the intersections of (1) Walnut Grove at Timber Creek and (2) Pleasant View at Bartlett. All bidders must be licensed contractors, and all bid envelopes/submittals must include information, as required by Title 62, Chapter 6, of the Tennessee Code Annotated. This project is exempt from the mandatory aforesaid contractor's licensing requirements if the bid amount is under $25,000, but the phrase "Exempt from licensing requirement" must appear on the bid envelope in order for the city to consider the bid as being exempt from this requirement. A Bid Bond is Required if Bid Amount is $100,000 or More. Award of contracts will be made on the basis of the lowest and best bids as determined by the City of Memphis. Any protest of award must be filed in writing with the Purchasing Agent within TEN (10) days of the award announcement. Only bids submitted on the supplied form(s) with no changes, additions, or deletions to the terms and conditions will be considered. All bids must be signed by an authorized representative of your firm.
