The City of Jerseyville reserves the right to reject any and all Confidential Bid Proposals or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the submittal or review procedures, and to proceed with or discontinue the process to provide exclusive waste, garbage, trash, and yard waste collection, disposal, and recycling services in the City in a manner best serving the interests of the City. Acceptance of any bid proposal is subject to final approval by the City Council at a regular or special meeting called for that purpose, of an ordinance authorizing the City to issue a license and enter into an exclusive contract with one company, with such ordinance to include all regulations as are necessary, to provide exclusive waste, garbage, trash, and yard waste collection, disposal, and recycling services in the City, and is subject to successful negotiation and finalization of the said exclusive contract with the selected responsible bidder, whose bid proposal is the most advantageous for the City and its citizens. The Request for Confidential Bid Proposal Submission Cover Sheet, Instructions, Qualifications and Bid Information, with all necessary background information needed to submit a bid proposal may be obtained by emailing Cyndee Tucker at ctucker@jerseyville-il.us or calling her at 618-498-3312.
