Renovation and addition to a warehouse / distribution facility in Jerseyville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a 5,320-square-foot warehouse / distribution facility; 5,825-square-foot warehouse / distribution facility; and 5,000-square-foot warehouse / distribution facility.

Construct Storage Building, Replace Roofing Systems, and Exterior Renovations at three Illinois Department of Transportation District #8 locations: Jerseyville Team Section Headquarters, Carlyle Team Section Headquarters, and Columbia Team Section Headquarters. At Jerseyville, work is to expand the existing 4,050± square foot wood-framed building by adding a 5,000± square foot pre-engineered wood-framed addition with a masonry firewall, new roof, overhead doors, slab on grade, intake louvers, exhaust fans, and new LED lighting. At Columbia, the project includes reroofing an 82’ diameter dome salt storage building, enlarging the salt fill dormer, repairing dome structural sheathing and framing, and providing new vinyl siding and sheet metal. At Carlyle, the work involves reroofing the upper roof of a maintenance shed with a new standing seam metal roof, replacing gas penetrations, rerouting PVC penetrations as required, and installing new gutters, downspouts, and additional insulation. The building or structures involved are to remain operational during construction. Either the Single Prime Bidder or a protected subcontractor must be listed for each trade. Only one protected subcontractor per trade is permitted. All protected subcontractors must be prequalified with CDB. Bids and modifications are accepted only via the CDB’s e-Builder Bidding Program or an alternative file transfer system as instructed. Bids submitted via fax, mail, or in-person will not be accepted. Vendors are responsible for ensuring that all required documentation is submitted through the portal. If technical errors occur, bidders must submit a screenshot of the error and follow the provided instructions to submit via an alternative system. Prequalification with CDB and registration with the Illinois Procurement Gateway are required. MBE/WBE/PBE/VBE participation is applicable. Contractors must comply with prevailing wage requirements. Submission of standard certifications, disclosures, and progress payment procedures are also required.
