Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a 23,186-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a 23,186-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
This project includes the construction of a new 23,186 s/f elementary school for Pre-K through 3rd grades. Includes Hurricane Ida damage repairs to existing historic schoolhouse. Question Deadline 07/31/2025 Bidders and Sub-bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request which shall reach the Architect at least seven days prior to the date for receipt of bids, so that an appropriate addendum may be issued prior to the bid. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and generally consists of the following: 1. Construction of a new, single-story, pile supported, slab-on-grade classroom building including all associated site, grading, and utility work shown in the Bidding Documents. 2. Construction of scopes of work identified as Alternate Bids as accepted as part of the Contract for Construction. 3. Repair of the existing Little Red Schoolhouse building as indicated in the Bidding Documents. 4. The project will be funded by FEMA reimbursement funds. Contractor shall comply with all FEMA Terms & Conditions identified in the Bidding Documents. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. 1.4 PHASED CONSTRUCTION A. The Work shall be conducted in a single phase.
