COMCARE Community Crisis Relocation and Expansion Attendance is not mandatory; however, this will be the only time to meet directly with County staff and the architect to answer questions concerning this project. General contractors are encouraged to have their subcontractors attend this meeting to view the site conditions. Last questions received – Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 5:00 p.m The selected site is located at 235 S Topeka Avenue, in downtown Wichita, Kansas and is adjacent to the Wichita Biomed Center (WBC) currently under construction. The existing building is a two-story structure consisting of approximately 35,121 square feet of existing usable space. The project will include a renovation and conversion of a two-story brick masonry building into a substance abuse and stabilization care center with an approximate two-story 900 square foot expansion to provide lobby space with an elevator and stairs. No work shall commence until the Owner issues a Notice To Proceed, and a Notice To Proceed will not be issued until all of the following are mailed or delivered to the Facilities Dept., 525 N Main St., Suite 135, Wichita, Kansas, 67202, by the selected vendor: Project is a remodel with a small addition to an existing 2-story building. Total sqft is 34,000sf
