Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Frederick, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Replacement and renovation of park pedestrian bridges as follows: FY 25 - Baker Park Covered Bridge to include design for structural and cosmetic overhaul addressing existing abutments; steel sub-structure; and wooden floor, siding, and roof. FY 26 - Willowdale Park footbridge remove and replace with concrete culvert or steel truss as required through design and environmental permitting FY 27 - Tasker's Chance Park two steel truss bridges FY 28 - Whittier Lake Park two steel truss bridge and a wooden dock FY 29 - Cobblestone Park one steel truss bridge FY 30 - Wetherburne Park one steel truss bridge As of July 12, 2025, this project is included in the City's 2026-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
