Scope of Work Summary. The scope of work for this Project will generally involve installing and approximately two hundred nineteen (219) linear feet (LF) of 18" HDPE pipe to connect tow existing storm drainage manholes, installation of one pipe weir or overflow and the street pavement disturbed during construction will be repaired or replaced. All materials and work done under this contract shall be in conformance with the City of Waterbury Standards and The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation Form 818 including all Supplemental Specifications and the Plan sheet entitled Proposed Storm Drainage Medway Road, Waterbury, Connecticut dated April 2025. Proposer's attention is directed to the Price Proposal (Attachment E), the Technical Specifications, the General Conditions and the Special Conditions as well as the Standard Details, (Attachment G) which detail and describe the work and services associated with this RFP. State law requires a minimum of twenty-five (25%) percent of the statefunded portion of the contract be set aside for award to subcontractors holding current certification from the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services ("DAS") under the provisions of CONN. GEN. STAT. 4a-60g. (25% of the total state-funded value with DAS-certified Small Businesses and 6.25% of the total state-funded value with DAScertified Minority-, and/or Disabled-owned Business.).
