Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % A certified check, or the included Bid Bond, executed by the Bidder and a surety company, payable to the City of Clawson, in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the receipt of bids. This time frame may be adjusted through mutual agreement between Owner and Contractor. The City of Clawson will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder; however, it reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding.
