Sealed proposals for all work categories described in the Project Manual for Clawson Public Schools - 2021/2023 Bond Program, BP9 - Clawson High School Renovations, are requested. All bidders must submit their bids electronically via Building Connected on the proper bid forms under the appropriate work category. Bids over $50,000 must include a Co-Obligee Payment and Performance Bond, with the bond cost included in the bid. Contractors must complete a qualification process, submitting both the Qualification Statement and a complete audited or reviewed Financial Statement with Accountants Report and Footnotes. All bids over the State of Michigan Bid Threshold must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid, payable to Clawson Public Schools. All proposals must remain valid for ninety (90) days after the bid date. The Owner, Architect, and Construction Manager may waive any irregularities, reject any or all proposals, or accept any proposal deemed in their best interest. If any discrepancies exist between the bid value on Building Connected and the CM Proposal forms, the CM Proposal Form numeric value will prevail. Post bid interviews will be scheduled, and bidders must be available during the specified week for interviews.
