Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project includes removals, grading, dense graded base, concrete pavement, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, storm sewer, erosion control, permanent signing, traffic signal loop detectors, traffic control, pavement marking, restoration, and any other incidental items necessary to complete said work as shown on the plans and these specifications. 67th Street - Green Bay Road to 60th Avenue Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same and must be accompanied by a contract and bid bond, a certified check, or a bank cashier's check, in the sum of five per cent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of Kenosha as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within fifteen (15) days of the award of contract. Should any bid be rejected, such check will be forthwith returned to the bidder, and should any bid be accepted, such check will be returned upon the timely and proper execution and securing of the contract. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute the contract and performance bond, the amount of the bid bond or check shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. The City of Kenosha reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid considered most advantageous to the City of Kenosha. Pre-Qualification: Yes
