Demolition, site work and addition to a municipal facility in Newton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the addition of a 3,686-square-foot municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The Land Conservancy of New Jersey is seeking proposals from qualified demolition contractors for a demolition project: * Please be advised that State funds from the Green Acres Program are being utilized in this project. * The New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.) applies to this job * Under N.J.A.C. 7:15, vendors currently suspended, debarred, or disqualified are excluded from participation on this project. LOCATION OF PROJECT: Limestone Forest Preserve 23 Chandoga Drive Hampton Township Sussex County, New Jersey Block 2501 Lot 4 . INTERESTED QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS should provide a fee and schedule for the demolition of a 3,686 SF custom colonial-style home, a shed, an inground pool, the septic system, and five utility poles. The project will be awarded on August 6th. Limestone Forest Preserve 23 Chandoga Drive Hampton Township Sussex County, New Jersey Block 2501 Lot 4 3,686 SF custom colonial-style home, shed, inground pool, septic, five utility poles Wells sealed Electric shut off Email obtained from gas company indicating no service Asbestos testing completed and certificate received Attempting to schedule removal of transformer and electric lines All disposal / tipping fees. 5) Identification of licensed facility to be utilized for disposal. 6) Not to exceed price must be all-inclusive, including but not limited to permitting, equipment, dumpster rental, hauling, excavating, filling, grading, travel costs, labor gasoline, etc. 7) All proposals and contracts must stipulate no fill to be brought to site. 8) All cinderblock and concrete on site may be crushed and used as fill for basement and pool filling in accordance with NJDEP standards and requirements for clean fill. 9) All original stone foundations are to remain intact. 10) The stone wall in front of the house and stone steps are to remains intact. 11) There is a large historic stone placed near the front steps of the house. That stone is to be surrounded w construction fence, worked around, left in place and undamaged. 12) All cinderblock and cement foundations areas to be demolished and crushed. 13) To the maximum extent possible all disturbed areas to be left graded to a maximum of 30 degrees of slope. 14) The pool area may be left as a depression with graded slopes. A resulting ponded area would be desirable.
