Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Smyrna, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Project involves the rehabilitation of the existing boardwalk structure (Approximately 950linear feet), raisingthe existing water monitoring platform and rehabilitation of approximately 2300 linear feet of existingtrail. Bidders will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation,gender identity or national origin in consideration of this award, and Minority BusinessEnterprises,Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, Women-Owned Business Enterprises and Veteran-OwnedBusinessEnterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract. Each bidmust beaccompaniedby a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. Thesuccessful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sumequal to 100 percent of thecontractprice upon execution of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bidsandtowaiveanyinformalities therein. Bid date notes: At whichtimetheywill be publicly opened and read aloud in the Auditorium. Bidder bears the risk of latedelivery. Anybidsreceived after the stated time will be returned unopened.
