This contract includes Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, and Polk counties within District D-8/Florida's Turnpike. Perform Lighting Repair and Replacement Operations pursuant to the terms of this Contract and at the direction of the Department. Contractor Experience Documentation: Expertise and Experience is required in the performance of Highway Lighting. The Experience in Highway Lighting Form (850-070-11) must be filled out and submitted with the bid. The form must be signed by the owner of the company or a company officer and dated in the space provided on the form. 1. No Pre-bid Will Be Held for This Contract. 2. Award is contingent upon legislative budget approval and availability of funds. 3. Awarded Contractor must execute documents within 10 days. 4. General Liability, Auto and Workman's Compensation Insurance required. 5. FHWA 1273/Davis-Bacon Wage Rates 6. The Contractor shall provide a letter to the Department at the time of bid, from a surety authorized to do business in the State of Florida verifying the Contractor is bondable in the State of Florida. For the purposes of this Contract the dollar amount is established at $500,000.00. The performance bond will be required within five days after commencement of any services.
