The City of New Westminster invites tenders for the Boyd Street Active Transportation Improvements and Rotary Crosstown Greenway - Seventh Avenue (West) project in New Westminster, BC. The work generally consists of: Boyd Street Active Transportation Improvements: Construction of a 3.5m wide, ~500m long asphalt multi-use pathway along Boyd Street, mill and inlay of existing commercial driveways, streetlight upgrades, pavement marking/ signage upgrades within ~1500m of existing and proposed corridor along Boyd Street, and intersection improvement at Boyd Street/Howes Street including traffic signal modification. Rotary Crosstown Greenway - Seventh Avenue (West): Pavement Marking and road signage improvements along ~1400m long corridor on 7th Avenue, traffic-calming curb placement, median and truck apron installation, mountable raised crosswalk installation, mountable speed cushion installation, intersection improvement at 12th Street/7th Avenue including traffic signal modification.
