Question Deadline 07/25/2025 at 12:00 PM CT Online Portal Construction of Single-Family Homes (Orchard Place Phase 2) for the Harris County Housing and Community Development Department The project(s) shall consist of successful Offeror furnishing all qualified personnel, supervision, services, materials, equipment, facilities, travel, overhead and incidentals necessary for Construction of SingleFamily Homes (Orchard Place Phase 2) for the Harris County Housing and Community Development Department. The services to be performed by the Offeror may include, but are not limited to, the following The scope requires the selected builder(s) to provide all necessary qualified personnel, supervision, services, materials, equipment, facilities, travel, incidentals, and overhead. The selected builder will be responsible for constructing twenty-four (24) single-family townhomes in six (6) separate buildings on finished lots that are owned by Harris County. Each home must be Energy Star Certified. Harris County is hiring qualified builders to deliver all twenty-four (24) homes in 120 days or less, under the approved plans as further defined in this RFP. Harris County or its representative will be responsible for selling the homes; this will not be the responsibility of the builder. The selected builder will not be involved in the sales of the constructed homes. The inventory will belong to Harris County, who will be responsible for selling the homes. The builder must offer necessary postconstruction support, warranties and maintenance to ensure the long-term viability and sustainability of these affordable housing units. The builder must provide a 1-2-6 warranty (workmanship defects for one (1) year, distribution systems defects for two (2) years and structural defects for six (6) years) for each unit.
