The City of Bridgeton is requesting Bid proposals for the project listed below. Bids are to be presented to the City of Bridgeton in sealed envelopes marked: BID: South & North Laurel Street Reconstruction The City of Bridgeton reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive immaterial information. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein required by the Specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of bidder and name of project on outside and addressed to the City of Bridgeton and must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said check need not be more than $20,000 nor shall not be less than $500 and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Consent of Surety from an approved Surety Company must also be submitted with the Bid. This is a prevailing wage project and all bidders are required to comply with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act ofN.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.
