The scope of the project includes the installation of approximately 2,535 LF of 12-inch waterline along Lone Star Parkway, crossing existing Town Creek, to serve a future single-family development. Any bids received following the deadline will not be accepted. A cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, payable to the City of Montgomery, must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond and payment bond for the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to this Bid and/or Contract and the Contractor agrees that the Contract can be terminated if the Contractor knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with the requirements of that subchapter.
