Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center (V023) is soliciting sealed bids for replacement of fire proof panels inside the burn chamber of the District's fire training facility located at 4601 N. Choctaw Rd, Choctaw, OK 73020. The intent of this project is to design, furnish and install an engineered interior insulating system, enabling firefighters to create repeated fires to a maximum of 2000 degrees F followed by extinguishment with the use of water without damage to either the structure or the system proposed. The bid opening will be open to the public. Bids received more than 96 hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, before time set for opening bids, as well as bids received after time set for opening bids, will not be considered, and will be returned unopened. A cashier's check, certified check, or surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Checks or surety bonds will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. Alternatively, a bidder may submit an irrevocable letter of credit, containing terms the Office of Management and Enterprise Services prescribes, issued by a financial institution insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation, for the benefit of Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. In addition, at the time of submission, each bidder must submit a written statement, under oath, disclosing certain business relationships required under the Oklahoma Public Competitive Bidding Act. A copy of the statement is included in the Bid Documents. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and specifically will reject any bid which does not comply with the specifications and requirements placed upon bidders by the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974 (Okla. Stat. tit. 61 101 et seq.) including without limitation, the inclusion of a proper bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, non-collusion and business relationship affidavits
