A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** All questions pertaining to the Requests for Bids should be directed, in writing, to Lisa Domingues, and sent by e-mail tol.domingues@jcmua.com between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. All questions must be received by JCMUA no later than August 1, 2025, by 3:00 p.m. Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to Albert Anderson, JCMUA's Purchasing Agent and marked "Public Bid" with the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the project on the outside of the envelope, and may be sent by United States Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested, overnight delivery or by private courier service or hand-delivered to JCMUA's Purchasing Agent. The project generally consists of the replacement of approximately 6,400 LF of water mains of various sizes including valves,valve boxes, hydrant assemblies, water services, and all other associated work; and the replacement of 6,600 LF of existing sewer mains of various types and sizes with separated storm and sanitary sewers including manholes, catch basins and laterals; excavation,backfill, restoration and all other associated work as contained in the Contract Documents. The work shall be completed within 480 calendar days of the Contractor's receipt of written A bid must be accompanied by a Surety's Consent and either a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check for ten (10%) percent of the amount of the bid or $20,000.00 maximum, whichever is the lesser. Cashier's check or certified checks shall be made payable to Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority. The Surety shall be bound to furnish Performance, Labor and Material, and Maintenance Bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price.
