Description of Work. The Proposed Construction Consists of Installation of Approximately 1912 Lf of 10-inch Water Main and528 Lf of 8-inch Sanitary Sewer Main, Along With Water Services,Sanitary Sewer Laterals, and Other Miscellaneous Items of Work. All Bids Must Be Accompanied by a Bidder's Bond for Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount of the Bid as Provided in the Bidder Instructions.If a Successful Bidder Fails to Execute and File the Required Contract and Bond, Bidder Agrees to Forfeit Bid Deposit to the City As Liquidated Damages.This Bid Will Remain Open for 45 Days After the Date of Bid Opening or for Such Longer Period of Time That Bidder May Agree To in Writing Upon Request of Owner. Rejection of Bids. The City of Milton Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Technicalities. Unless the Bids Are Rejected for Good Cause, Award of Contract Shall Be Made to the Lowest Responsible and Responsive Bidder.
