OLD NATIONAL PIKE SLIDE REPAIR PROJECT. The OLD NATIONAL PIKE SLIDE REPAIR PROJECT includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install a geogrid reinforced precast concrete block retaining wall for a slide repair along a section of Old National Pike. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to Donegal Township. Contact Harshman CE Group, LLC at 724-503-4125 with any questions. The bid envelope must be clearly marked OLD NATIONAL PIKE SLIDE REPAIR PROJECT. Donegal Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the OLD NATIONAL PIKE SLIDE REPAIR PROJECT. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by Donegal Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
