Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Lees Summit, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,866-square-foot clubhouse / community center.
The Gamber Community Center is evaluating flooring replacement in the following areas: Sq ft - estimated o North Hallway - 382sq ft o Waiting, Reception, Managers (Counselor), and Directors' offices - 478 sq ft o Main Hallway - 864 sq ft o South Hallway & Corridor - 509 sq ft o One Classroom - 633 sq ft Pricing shall be submitted per square foot, and bidders are encouraged to provide both per-square-foot and total area pricing for each listed section. These spaces are currently carpeted. The project will refresh high-traffic areas and provide consistency with ballroom flooring improvements completed previously. At this stage, no color, manufacturer, or style has been selected. Contractors are asked to provide recommendations and pricing for both Carpet Tile and Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP), comparable in quality and durability to ballroom materials. The product specifications page is included for Philadelphia Commercial - In the Grain II 20 mil, which is the product referenced previously for quality The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the following: o Remove and properly dispose of existing carpet and cove base. o Prepare subfloor to manufacturer specifications for installation. o Supply and install new flooring, providing two pricing scenarios: o Carpet Tile option. o Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) option. o Provide and install all transition strips, adhesives, trims, and 4" cove base. o Ensure installation meets or exceeds the manufacturer's standards for commercial flooring. o Clean and clear all debris from the site at project completion. Proposal Requirements To allow for both current budgeting and long-term planning, proposals must include: o Price per square foot flooring type (Carpet Tile vs. LVP). o Breakdown of cost per space (Hallway priced separately from Classroom). o Bulk or combined pricing if both spaces are replaced in one phase. o Estimated specifications for proposed materials (see tables below). o Installation timeline. o Warranty details for both product and installation. Contractor Requirements o Must be bonded and insured. o Must provide all product data, color selections, and samples for approval before installation. o Must schedule work to minimize disruption to Gamber Community Center operations. o Facility will be unavailable for removal and installation between January 26th, 2026, and March 1st, 2026.
