Description

Site work and new construction of a stadium in Kamloops, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a stadium; and for site work for a stadium.

Kamloops new Multiplex arena. The facility may include: a. Up to four (4) sheets of ice conforming to National Hockey League dimensions including change rooms b. One half-size sheet of ice c. Equipment rentals and skate sharpening d. A public fitness facility e. Shared and bookable programming space f. Café or concession g. Child play spaces h. Divisional home team hosting i. A walking track j. Dry warm up space k. Other city parks and community center amenities TIMELINE: Request for proposals for design services is closed. Preferred propnent is unreleased. This RFP has been issued based on a Multi-Category Decision process. Proponents may submit on any number of the Categories. For the purposes of this RFP, the Categories shall include: Electrical Engineering Services Mechanical Engineering Services Structural Engineering Services There will be no preference for awarding multiple Categories to the same Proponent. Further update in late spring 2026, upon award.
