The scope of work includes the removal of invasive and undesirable species within the park, along the shoreline of a retention pond and minor site restora-tion as shown in the Drawings and Specifications. All questions concerning this project or those concerning bidding requirements should be directed to Pegg Motta in writing to pmotta@napervilleparks.org. Ques tions will be received in writing only through 12:00PM on Thursday July 24, 2025. 1. A bid bond is not required for this project. 2. If a bid is accepted, a Surety Bond (aka Performance and Labor & Material Payment Bond), payable to the Naperville Park District, for not less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount will be required prior to beginning construction. A Surety Bond, payable to the Naperville Park District, for not less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount is required by Statute prior to beginning construction on all projects where the Contract Sum is $150,000 or more, and may be required for projects $150,000 or less at the discretion of the Naperville Park District. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in August. The Park District reserves the right to reject any non-responsive or non-responsible Bids or to reject all bids and waive any informality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Park District.
