Update: The current Checked Baggage (EDS) Inspection System at the airport is inefficient and does not meet the current needs of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The TSA and Eugene Airport have entered into an "Other Transaction Agreement"(OTA) to install a new EDS system. The Outbound Baggage project will include a new baggage screening area, a new baggage make-up area, support for administrative space, and temporary improvements as necessary to maintain service with existing baggage and handling facilities.
