Measurement and payment for work performed and materials furnished for the installation of new service line shall be made on the basis of the price bid per each (EA) and shall be total compensation for all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the work. BID ITEM DESCRIPTIONS Tx-139 Furnish Traffic Control Plan: This item shall include furnishing a traffic control plan signed and sealed by a professional engineer licensed in the State of Texas and in accordance with the Texas Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. This item includes furnishing the initial traffic control plan as well as any necessary revisions, omissions, or changes to the plan during all phases of the project. The plan shall address traffic control requirements for both the installation of the proposed 24-inch water line and the removal of the existing 12-inch water line. The lump sum (L.S.) unit price shall include, but not be limited to, all professional services necessary to maintain, move and remove traffic control devices during all phases of construction including submittal of the phasing and barricade plan. Tx-140 Furnish, Install, Maintain & Remove Traffic Control Measures for 24-Inch Water Line Installation: This item shall include furnishing and placing traffic control measures and implementing traffic control plan in accordance with the Texas Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices for installation of the proposed 24-inch water line along the west side of F.M. 664 per TxDOT requirements. Separate traffic control measures will be needed for work along the northbound lanes (Bid Item Tx-141). The per month (Mo.) price shall include, but not be limited to all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to implement, maintain, move and remove traffic control devices during all phases of construction including submittal of the phasing and barricade plan. Tx-141 Furnish, Install, Maintain & Remove Traffic Control Measures for 12-Inch Water Line Removal: This item shall include furnishing and placing traffic control measures and implementing traffic control plan in accordance with the Texas Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices for removal of the existing 12-inch water line along the east side of F.M. 664 per TxDOT requirements. Separate traffic control measures will be needed for work along the southbound lanes (Bid Item Tx-140). Tx-142 Furnish Erosion Control Plan (SW3P): This item shall include furnishing a storm water pollution prevention plan (SW3P) in accordance with State (TCEQ), federal and local requirements and obtaining coverage under the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES). The plan shall address erosion control requirements for both the installation of the proposed 24-inch water line and the removal of the existing 12-inch water line. The lump sum (L.S.) unit price shall be the total compensation for furnishing all the necessary documents, permits, and submitting a Notice of Intent (N.O.I.) and Notice of Termination (N.O.T.) necessary to complete the work. Tx-143 Furnish, Install, Maintain & Remove Erosion Control Measures for 24-Inch Water Line Installation: This item shall include furnishing, installing, maintaining and removing silt fences, inlet protection, stone outlet sediment trap, construction entrances, and all required erosion control devices and in accordance with NCTCOG Item 201 and the City's storm water prevention requirements and the storm water pollution prevention plan for installation of the proposed 24-inch water main. Separate erosion control measures will be needed for removal of the existing 12-inch water line along the east side of F.M. 664 per TxDOT requirements (Bid Item Tx-144). Measurement and payment shall be made on the basis of the bid price per month (Mo.) and shall be the total compensation for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work. Tx-144 Furnish, Install, Maintain & Remove Erosion Control Measures for 12-Inch Water Line Removal: This item shall include furnishing, installing, maintaining and removing silt fences, inlet protection, stone outlet sediment trap, construction entrances, and all required erosion control devices and in accordance with NCTCOG Item 201 and the City's storm water prevention requirements and the storm water pollution prevention plan for removing and disposing of the existing 12-inch water line on the east side of F.M. 664. Tx-145 Furnish Trench Safety Plan: This item shall include furnishing a trench safety plan designed and signed and sealed by a professional engineer licensed in the State of Texas. The plan shall address trench safety requirements for both the installation of the proposed 24-inch water line and the removal of the existing 12-inch water line.
