2023 Capital Improvements Project - Mechanical All bid document requests can be completed through online in advance for pickup and or shipping from Rotolite-Elliott Corporation. In Lieu of paper bid sets, bidders can view and obtain electronic plans and specifications online upon a $59.00 non-refundable payment by online. (Upon obtain , said entity will be added as a legitimate plan holder on the job and will receive electronic files of any bid addendums issued throughout the bidding process. For the convenience of prospective Bidders, subcontractors and material suppliers, Bidding Documents will also be made available via online. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of Base Bid is required and must accompany proposal. Performance Bond and Labor Material Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of Contract Sum are required to be delivered at time Contract is signed with Owner. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after date of bid opening. Attention of the Bidder is particularly called to the following: The Owner's sales tax exemption. The minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. The requirements pertaining to certification of Non-Collusion in preparation of proposals submitted for this Project. New York State Contractor Registry - In compliance with New York State Department of Labor requirements a copy of the Contractor Registration Form shall be submitted with the bid. Bidders will comply with New York State prevailing wage and supplement requirements. The Portville Central School District hereby reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be in the best interest of Portville Central School District Question Deadline 08/05/2025 Requests for clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted by the Bidder in writing via email and shall be received by the Architect. Site scope includes a new student drop-off/pick-up loop, upgrades to the drainage and turf on the football field and soccer field, track surfacing relpacement, scoreboard replacements, a new splash pad, and concrete sidewalks/stairs. Upgrades at the main building include roof upgrades, new entrance canopies, and secure entrance vestibles, interior door security hardware, general classroom finish & casework upgrades, toilet room renovations, office suite renovations, STEM/technology space renovation and building addition, telescoping bleacher replacement, kitchen serving line renovation, server closet AC upgrades, mechanical equipment upgrades, and electrical equipment upgrades. A. Work of the Mechanical Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Site hydronic distribution. 2. Energy supply, including hot and chilled water supply systems. 3. Mechanical systems and equipment. 4. Mechanical instrumentation and controls. 5. Mechanical testing, adjusting, and balancing. 6. Building automation system. 7. Mechanical connections to equipment furnished by other Contracts. B. Temporary facilities and controls in the Mechanical Construction Contract include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Temporary facilities and equipment related to the Mechanical work. C. Work in the Mechanical Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following as it pertains to Work of this Contract: 1. Division 00 "Procurement and Contracting Requirements" 2. Division 01 "General Requirements" 3. Division 02 "Existing Conditions" 4. Division 05 "Metals" 5. Division 06 "Wood, Plastics, and Composites" 6. Division 07 "Thermal and Moisture Protection"
