Renovation of a multi-residential development in Fort Duchesne, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
This Invitation for Bids ("IFB") is being advertised as an open procurement with Indian Preference. Firms claiming Indian Preference must submit proof of enrollment with a federal or state recognized Indian tribe and proof of at least 5l% Indian ownership of their firm. Proposals must adhere to the sealed bid requirements in the UIHA Procurement Policy, attached hereto. UIHA reserves the right to interview some or all of the parties submitting proposals either in person or by telephone. Davis-Bacon wage requirements shall apply. Federal funds are being used to fund this contract. All applicable federal laws shall apply including but not limited to the provisions of the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act (NAHASDA) 25 U.S.C. 4101, et seq. UIHA will accept bids from contractors that can provide specific Construction/Repair work. Bids will be accepted from qualified contractors that have an interest in offering their services. The bid must identify those areas that will use a sub-contractor and what subcontractor will be used. Question Deadline 07/24/2025 All verbal questions may be directed to the office of the Executive Director of UIHA at 435-722-4. Any bid submitted must state that it will remain open for sixty (60) days. UIHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The successful film will be offered a firm-fixed-price contract with UIHA with work to commence after award of the contract. Twelve (12) calendar weeks will be allowed for completion of the rehabilitation work. Contractors are required to be registered with the Ute Tribal Employment Rights Office (''UTERO''), have a tribal business license, and obtain Access Permits prior to submitting bids. These documents along with required insurance information are required to be submitted as part of the bid. If any of the documents are not submitted with the bid, the bid will be considered non-responsive.
