Flagler County is seeking Bids from qualified and licensed State of Florida Contractor to provide all permits, insurance, manpower, material and supervision for the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Louvers replacement project. The Flagler County Board of County Commissioners has adopted policies which assure and encourage the full participation of Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women-owned Business Enterprises (WBE), and Veteran-owned Business Enterprises (VBE) in the provision of goods and services. The County encourages joint ventures with these businesses. Question Submission Deadline :July 23, 2025, 5:00pm Scope of Work Scope of Work for Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Louvers Replacement 1. Summary The County of Flagler, Florida, is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide the removal and replacement of louvers at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) building. This project includes the replacement of eight (8) louvers with specified dimensions and models designed to meet Miami Dade winddriven rain standards. The contractor will also be responsible for the removal and replacement of associated ductwork and plenums as necessary. This document outlines the detailed specifications, service requirements, and delivery requirements for the project. 2. Detailed Specifications The following specifications shall be adhered to during the removal and replacement of the louvers: A. Louvers Specification: o All replacement louvers shall be Ruskin Model EME520MD. o Louvers shall meet Miami Dade County wind-driven rain requirements. B. Louvers Dimensions: o Four (4) Louvers - 78" x 12" o One (1) Louver - 12" x 12" o One (1) Louver - 48" x 24" o One (1) Louver - 24" x 12" o One (1) Louver - 18" x 12" C. Ductwork and Plenums:Replace ductwork and plenums as required during the louver replacement. o All ductwork must comply with the latest edition of SMACNA (Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association) standards. o All materials used for ductwork and plenums must be of a commercial grade quality, suitable for the intended application. D. Performance Standards: o All work performed shall be according to the latest standards set forth by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). o Comply with Florida Building Code requirements relevant to ventilation and roofing standards. o Maintain compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations during the project. *This project has been abandoned due to Flagler County having no plans re-bidding this project in the future.*
