Demolition, site work and addition to an office development in Amarillo, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a 1,000-square-foot office development; for the demolition of a office development; and for site work for a office development.
B. The scope of work includes the remodel of a shop to convert it into an open office space. The remodel includes removal of two overhead doors, partial demolition of concrete slab, demolition of structural clay tile wall, and removal of abandoned conduits. Asbestos abatement is also included in this project. The new items included in this project are as follows: new concrete slab, infill of openings with metal stud walls, storefront windows, acoustical ceiling tile system, HVAC system, electrical and data systems, millwork, and interior finishes. C. Perform Work of Contract under Lump Sum Total cost contract with Owner in accordance with Conditions of Contract. Pre-qualification of contractors on facility contracts is waived; however, the Uniform General Conditions included in each proposal document outlines specific requirements for contract award. Furthermore, if the project estimate and/or contractor's estimate is greater than or equal to $100,000, the use of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) is mandated and a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) is required and must be submitted with proposal package.
