Construction of Softball Field Shelters at the Energy Capital Sports Complex. This project is funded in part by a Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant (Department of the Interior) through Wyoming State Parks and Cultural Resources. The City of Gillette is seeking a qualified contractor to construct new shelter structures over the bleachers for the softball fields (total of 8 locations). This project is funded in part by a Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant (Department of the Interior) through Wyoming State Parks and Cultural Resources. The Energy Capital Sports Complex is located at 3400 South Garner Lake Road. The park is comprised of 4 baseball fields, 3 soccer fields, a splash park, and a newly constructed indoor aquatic facility. This project will install up to eight (8) small shelters adjacent to four existing softball fields. In general, the City of Gillette seeks the following: 1. Build up to eight (8) small shelters adjacent to four existing softball fields at the ECSC property. The attached Project Site Map in Attachment F identifies the area of construction. 2. The general intent of the shelters is to match the look and construction of the dugout shelters. Select record drawings and specifications have been provided for reference in Attachment H. Also, see Attachment A and Attachment G for additional information. 3. The total funding allocated for this project is $450,000, which is comprised of $225,000 from the Land and Water Conservation Fund. Respondents shall provide a proposed Total Cost for constructing eight (8) shelters.
