You are invited to review and respond to this IFB 07A6107, titled Storm Water Treatment Device Maintenance, Inspections, Drainage Structure Sediment/Debris Removal, Disposal and Analysis Services in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. In submitting your bid, you shall comply with the instructions found herein. In addition to those programs and preferences that are specified in this solicitation, Prospective Contractors are encouraged to consider programs and preferences that are available, such as those for the use of small businesses, disadvantaged businesses, disabled veteran businesses, and other businesses covered by State and Federal programs and preferences. As required by Executive Order S-02-06, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is committed to meeting the State's twenty-five percent (25%) Small Business (SB) participation goal. Certified SBs, Micro Businesses (MB) and Contractors willing to commit to subcontracting a minimum of twenty-five percent (25%) of their net price to certified SBs or MBs (if applicable) are encouraged to submit bids. See Section D, Special Programs in this IFB for requirements. The DVBE Participation Program applies, and a three percent (3%) participation is required for this IFB. The DVBE Incentive Program may also apply to this IFB. See Section D, Special Programs in this IFB for requirements. This Agreement requires Prevailing Wages if the total bid amount exceeds $15,000. Contractor shall provide Storm Water Treatment Device Maintenance, Inspections, Drainage Structure Sediment/Debris Removal, Disposal and Analysis Services to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), on-call, as-needed services, via Service Request for, all labor, tools, supplies, materials, parts, equipment, fees, bins, travel, testing, transportation, treatment, permits, taxes and legal disposal needed to perform cleaning of Storm Water Treatment Devices, sediment/debris removal of Drainage Structure Inspections and disposal of hazardous waste.
