Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall be supplied in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond, but not in excess of $20,000.00. E-bonds through Surety2000 or Tinubu are also acceptable. A Performance Bond in the form of a Certified Check (cash) or Bond, from a surety company authorized to transact business in the State of New Jersey, in the amount of 100% of total bid will be required from the successful bidder, to insure faithful performance of the contract. The Performance Bond and contract must be filed with the County of Ocean within twenty-one (21) days of the award resolution, or the contract will be subject to rescission.
