The service includes, removal of damaged segments, which will be marked, and replacement of the removed areas with new concrete. Intended Date for Contract Award September 18, 2025 This project involves the removal and replacement of damaged sidewalk sections at specified locations. o Kings Way o Blythe Island Hwy o Crispen Blvd o Scranton Rd o Old Jesup Rd Panels designated for removal will be marked with white paint Removed panels will be disposed of by the contractor at no additional cost to County Expansion joint to be placed on each side of replaced segment prior to pouring Sidewalks will be poured back to a depth of 3.5" utilizing 3000psi mix All sections will receive a medium broom finish If two or more panels are replaced, control joints are to be cut, tooling of joints is prohibited Formed edges are to be finished prior to broom finish, no tooling marks from edging shall be visible upon curing Forms are to be removed 48 hours following concrete pour Clean fill will be placed along edge to fill areas where form was placed and remove drop off edge All forms, stakes, excess concrete, rubble, rocks or any other object present from removal and replacement will be removed by contractor Contractor is responsible for all traffic control, including sidewalk closure signage. All traffic control to comply with ATSSA standards.
