Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kashechewan, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Tender includes: Land clearing of Phase 1 of the proposed subdivision. Extension of communal services including sanitary sewers and watermain complete with fire protection provisions. Installation of communal services to 32 lots. Construction of granular roadways complete with roadside drainage ditches and road culverts. Construction of granular driveway aprons. The proposed work included in this Contract is in the community of Fort Albany First Nation, located on the southern shore of the Albany River on the west coast of James Bay. Fort Albany First Nation is accessible only by air, or by winter road. The proposed work primarily involves the supply of all labour, materials and equipment as necessary for the Subdivision Development as indicated on the drawings and described in this request for tender. Each Tender submission must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond to be retained by the Consulting Engineer for an amount of at least 10 percent (10%) of the total Tendered price made payable to Fort Albany First Nation. This contract is subject to the approval of the First Nation. The lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted.
