Site work for a water / sewer project in Kashechewan, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Kashechewan is a remote community of approximately 2200 people located at the north shore near the mouth of the Albany River on the west shore of James Bay, approximately 150km northwest of Moosonee, Ontario. The community is accessible year-round by air, by barge from July to October and by winter road from January to March. Construction on roadside and back ditches within the community to flow to the collection points within the dyke structure in a manner that will not involve excessively deep ditches and shall not permit water to collect in ditches as is the case at this time. TIMELINE: An RFP for engineering services closed, award details will no be released. Updates will be made upon issuance of tender for construction. Coverage has been discontinued at this time.
