Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Marquette, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The fire flows and the piping servicing the properties along this section of Chamberlain Street are dependent on a 4- inch 1931 and 1962 sand cast iron pipe. This project will upsize the existing pipe to 8-inch D.I. piping to improve fire flows, increase residential flows, and replace undersized pipe. The existing sanitary sewer is an 8-inch 1941 and 1962 clay pipe and will be replaced with 8-inch PVC piping. The sanitary sewer manholes and laterals will be replaced. The clearance between the sanitary sewer and the water main currently does not meet state standards. Upon replacement the standards will be met. It is anticipated that storm water piping and structures will not be required on this block. The street is currently rated a 3 under our Paser rating system. The curbing will be replaced as needed. Sidewalks will be replaced when required. The street cross section will be constructed to meet current design standards and guidelines. As of July 17,2025 ,This project is included in the city's 2027-2029- Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
