No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. Once funds are available, bid guarantee will be required before award. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. The work will include a full roof replacement of F542 to include all gutters and downspouts. Additionally, the repair of cracked brick face will be accomplished through the creation of an expansion joint at the northeast and northwest face of the building to prevent further water damage to these wall faces. The current edge and ridge conditions are being kept watertight through repeated application of liquid flashing. The field is faring better; however, due to remediation efforts at the edges, the field is exhibiting signs of aging at a rate faster than expected. Accelerated degradation due to improper system installation along with historical remediation tactics will require greater maintenance investment with no guarantee of a positive return.
