Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Santa Ana, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

The project is expected to be awarded on November 04, 2025.** The City of Santa Ana Public Works Maintenance Services Division is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to furnish all materials, labor, tools, expendable equipment, traffic control, transportation and product handling, delivery and storage necessary to perform asphalt concrete pothole repairs and asphalt concrete sidewalk patching and ramping repairs per ATTACHMENT A. The desired intent is to provide daily citywide services of up to two (2) separate patch crews able to each place 3 to 4 tons of asphalt concrete, dependent on funding availability. Bidders must have minimum five years' experience providing the same or similar services to public agencies. Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, parts/materials to provide hazardous waste disposal and management services in accordance with contract requirements; the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) Regulations; Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regulations; CAL OSHA requirements, appropriate manufacturer specifications; all applicable technical bulletins, trade, federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, including, but not limited to laws applicable to the Services at the time Services are provided to and accepted by the City. The City is a Public Works Awarding Body, as defined under Title 13 California Code of Regulations section 2449(c)(46). Accordingly, Bidders must submit, with their Bids, valid Certificates of Reported Compliance ("CRC") for the Bidder's fleet and for the fleet(s) of its listed subcontractors (including any applicable leased equipment or vehicles). Bidder must additionally complete and submit the Fleet Compliance Certification, included in the Bid Documents. Failure to provide a CRC for the Bidder, and for all listed subcontractors, or failure to complete the Fleet Compliance Certification, may render the Bid non-responsive. Significant interpretations or clarifications and responses to questions received by the deadline will be addressed via addenda to this RFP, which will be released and posted on online under the "Addenda/Emails" tab. Project Duration Initial 3-year contract plus two, 1-year renewal options Contractor's License: In accordance with California Public Contracting Code 3300, the City requires Contractors to possess a valid California Class C-12 Contractor's License at the time bids are opened and to maintain this and all other applicable licenses and certifications required to perform the work specified herein. Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted via online. Responses to all questions will be posted on online no later than the date and time shown at the schedule of key RFP dates on the cover page of this RFP.
