The Atlantic County Canale Fire Training Center Gear Storage Room Renovations Project consists of renovating the existing gear storage closet. The scope of work shall include, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Limited selective demolition, including the removal of existing chainlink enclosures and other wall mounted fixtures, equipment and mechanical / electrical devices as required to accommodate the proposed construction. 2. Construction of new masonry partitions as required to enclose the gear room. 3. Supply and installation of new hollow metal doors, frames and vision panels. 4. Construction of GWB steel framed partitions as required to enclose the gear room and provide separation to the existing stairs. 5. Interior finishes indicated and scheduled. 6. Infill of the interior side of the existing exterior wall louver openings. Existing louvers shall remain, and shall be sealed and weather proofed. 7. Exterior wall mounts for the new wall mounted mechanical equipment 8. New mechanical systems indicated and scheduled, as required to provide adequate climate control for the new enclosed gear room space. 9. New electrical systems indicated and scheduled, as required to provide support the work of this contract. 10. Supply and installation of open grid metal fire/ EMS lockers All work time is exclusive of Weekend & Holidays. All work to begin within 14 days from Notice to Proceed. This project must be completed within the approved construction schedule. The Project Substantial Completion date is One Hundred and Seventy - Five (175) calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The Project Final Completion date is One Hundred and Ninety - Six (196) calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages for work not completed within the approved schedule will be in the amount of $500.00 Q & A Deadline 08/07/2025 12:00 PM EDT In the event that a Bidder may have any questions regarding this Bid or the Work, all such questions should be submitted in writing on the Bid Portal Question section of the specific bid If a bid security is required with the bid, the bidder must upload a copy of the certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to the County of Atlantic. The original document must be received by the County of Atlantic Purchasing Office no later than 5 business days after the close of bids. The Bidder that is awarded a contract shall, simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the acceptable bid as security for the faithful performance of this contract.
