Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Hackensack, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of September 02, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. DUNKERHOOK PARKINGLOTS/LOOP ROAD Bidder shall submit with the bid a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to Bergen County Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for the full amount of the bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Electronic bid bond is acceptable, if Bidder is submitting a guarantee in the form of a cashier's check or certified check, an image of the check must be included with the bidor proposal submitted through the e-procurement platform; the physical check must be submitted to the County of Bergen, Division of Purchasing, One Bergen County Plaza, 3rd Floor, Rm #370 in a sealed envelope clearly marked as part of the bid response. Questions Due Date: Jul 24th 2025, 12:00 PM EDT PROJECT: DUNKERHOOK PARKING LOTS/LOOP ROAD Work requiered to complete this project. _ Mobilization _ Mill 2"- 3" of exisiting Asphalt on all 3 parking lots, loop road around the park, and all pathways inside the park area. _ Millings will be left on site, relocated as required and compacted as an additional subbase for surface course. Milling materials will be graded and relocated on site to establish grades for positive drainage and fill low areas within the parking lots and/or roadways. _ All milling, grading compaction and base preparation are to be included in Item #2 HMA MILLING 2"-3" including having a roller, trucks, and roller on site. _ All excess millings must be taken to a licensed recycle center and a receipt or manifest for each load provided to the county. _ The Contractor is responsible for conducting surveys and obtaining grades to ensure POSITIVE pitch to the existing inlets and or run-offs. There should be NO water drainage issues on pathways, roadways, and parking lots after final paving. _ Contractor is responsible to ensure that there will be no standing water or ponding of water on paved areas. _ The roadway connecting the entrances and exits of the two main parking lots will be widened to a minimum of 21 feet to accommodate two-way traffic, approximately 1,100 feet. Contractor must ensure that water will run to existing inlets or run-offs. _ Hand work may be required. Install asphalt berms as directed by the County representative, if and where directed. _ Clean/Sweep entire area and apply RC-70 or other approved tack coat material. _ Install a minimum of 2" of Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course over entire areas. Hot Mix Asphalt will be rolled and compacted to NJDOT compaction standards. _ Layout and Install Traffic Markings as per exisiting or detail as directed the RE. _ All vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be protected in accordance with NJDOT and MUTCD regulations. _ Contractor is responsible for the striping layout as per ,MUTCD and the cost shall be included in Item 1 - Mobilization
