Electrician Services The Hackensack Housing Authority in New Jersey will accept bids for electrical services. The contract will be for the term 10/1/25 to 9/30/27 (10/1/25-9/30/27). It is the Housing Authority's desire to retain and employ a duly qualified and capable licensed electrical contractor to assist in repairing and maintaining its facilities. All services must be in accordance with the existing laws, rules, orders, directives and regulations governing these services. The electrician will be required to provide the following services: 1) Make all electrical repairs and modifications as requested by the owner. 2) Respond to all emergencies within 3 hours. 3) Respond to all non-emergencies within 24 hours. 4) Maintain an adequate supply of materials in order to ensure that all repairs can be made in an efficient and economical manner. 5) Advise the Housing Authority on all electrical code related matters. 6) Advise the Housing Authority on all energy conservation measures that will result in a cost savings. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids received for maintenance supplies. It also reserves the right to terminate the vendor, for convenience, at any time during the term of the contract. The Authority may choose to utilize the New Jersey Cooperative Purchasing Program in the event that their prices are lower than the selected vendor. This Request for Bids is being made as a "fair and open" solicitation in accordance with the New Jersey "Pay to Play" requirements. All persons interested in submitting a bid for the Housing Authority's electrical services should submit a proposal based upon an hourly rate and overtime rate for both electrician and helper. The Bid must include the following: 1) The hourly rates for a period of 24 months. 2) Listing of references and current customers. 3) Copy of the New Jersey Business Registration form 4) Copy of electrical license 5) Copy of Insurance certificate)
