Provide professional engineering (for restoration and public access improvements), forestry, environmental, outreach, and monitoring services for the above project. The services may include, but not be limited to, reports, assessments, studies, preliminary plans, working drawings, performance criteria, cost estimates, bidding solicitation support, and construction support. All work shall be performed under and approved by a design professional, or contractor, licensed in the State of California. The estimated cost of construction is approximately $18,000,000. SCOPE OF SERVICES The successful firm shall provide professional architectural and engineering design, and additional services as required, for the above-referenced design-bid-build project. The services may include, but not be limited to, reports, assessments, studies, preliminary plans, working drawings, performance criteria, cost estimates, bidding solicitation support, and construction support. All work shall be performed under and approved by a design professional licensed in the State of California. The firm shall provide professional engineering, public access, forestry, environmental, communications, and monitoring services. The responsible party shall be an engineer licensed and Registered Professional Forester to practice in the State of California and all work shall be performed under and approved by a licensed design professional. The services may include geotechnical testing, surveying, preliminary plans, construction documents, cost estimates, bidding support, real estate acquisition support, permitting, environmental compliance, physical and biological monitoring, public outreach and communications material preparation, and construction support. The firm selected for this work and all sub-consultants are precluded from participating in any of the construction or other competitively bid contract work on this project.
