Site work for a water / sewer project in Quincy, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes replacing the bird netting over the sewage lagoons located on the Quincy Regional Airport property at 1645Hwy 104, Quincy, IL 62305. Base bid shall include the 8711 square yard lagoon with Alternate Number 1 being the 3600 southern lagoon. All proposals shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the"Proposal Bid" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the City of Quincy, or a bank cashier's check, or a properly certified check for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The City Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities.No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past. The City of Quincy is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages minority group participation in the bidding and construction process Bidders are notified that not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid to all workers performing work under this contract
