Reference Number 0000399306 Bid Intent Not Available Job Location: Various Locations in Quincy, IL The City of Quincy's MR 695 Project consists of hot-mix-asphalt resurfacing alleys and streets at various .locations in the City of Quincy. Portions of PCC curb and gutter, sidewalks, and driveways will be replaced. Pre-qualification: Any contractor desiring to submit a bid shall be prequalified in accordance with the rules of the IL Department of Transportation or the Illinois Capital Development Board, prior to being granted authorization to bid. Sub-contractors are not required to be pre-qualified. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Bidder Prequalification/Preregistration Required - Certified Payroll - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % All bids shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the city of Quincy, or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past. The City Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
