Work includes construction of a new pre-engineered steel bandstand structure, storage building, site work, sidewalks, electrical improvements, lighting, and other miscellaneous work. Bidding documents including drawings, project manual, addenda, list of plan holders of record, and bid tabulations will be available in Adobe PDF format online. Bidders are strongly encouraged to register as a Prime Bidder or Sub-Contractor to ensure timely receipt of bidding documents and to be listed as a plan holder. The owner and engineer are not responsible for any incompleteness of bidding documents from sources other than the official website. Printing and shipping fees for hard copies are the responsibility of the contractor. There is no charge for bidding documents in PDF format. Technical questions regarding interpretations of the bidding documents should be directed to the representative at Klingner & Associates PC. All proposals must be accompanied by either a bid bond on the provided form, executed by a satisfactory corporate surety company, or an acceptable alternative, for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid or for the amount listed in the specifications. No bid may be withdrawn after the opening time. All workers must be paid not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor.
