Supply and place 90mm thick asphalt mat on a 5100m2 area of road following cement stabilization process. The Services to be performed shall consist of: Obtain and submit all applicable permits required for the execution of the works. Supply and install hot-mix asphalt according to the RM of Lac Du Bonnet standards for design and construction of public works infrastructure (6.6 Surface (a) pavement). A) Crossfall & Grade The finished surface of the asphalt pavement shall be crowned at the centerline. A crossfall (slope) shall be maintained from the crown to each pavement edge. B) Roadway Width The paved asphalt surface shall extend to the limits as indicated in Appendix A- Location Plan. Standard paved asphalt road surface shall be 8.5m wide. C) Pavement Structure Ensure the cement-stabilized road base is adequately dampened prior to the application of the prime coat. Apply a prime coat consisting of liquid asphalt MC-0 at a rate of 1.35 litres per square meter to the cement-stabilized road base. The prime coat shall be applied at a temperature between 32C and 68C. Supply and place asphalt (cement penetration grade 150/200), mixed and heated at the plant to a temperature between 127C and 155C. Asphalt shall be placed in two lifts to achieve a final compacted thickness of 90mm across the entire paved area, ensuring uniformity and compliance with design standards.
