Liquidated Damages: In accordance with the Interim General Conditions, Article 7 Prosecution and Progress, Section 7.26 Failure to Complete the Work On Time, upon failure to complete the work or any portion of the work within the time or times fixed in the contract or extension thereof, the Contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the State, in the amount of $100, per calendar day of delay for contracts less than $50,000, or in the amount of $200, per calendar day of delay for contracts $50,000 or higher, unless otherwise noted. Remove existing R-22 air-cooled packaged AC equipment in the mechanical room at the library building Bldg. S and two (2) dehumidifier units in the library building Bldg. S and appurtenances. A new packaged AC equipment and exhaust fan will be provided in the Mechanical Room. The Packaged AC equipment will be provided with a 3rd party refrigerant detection system that will energize an exhaust fan when a refrigerant leak is detected. The removed equipment shall become the property of the Contractor and shall be disposed of offsite at an approved disposal site in accordance with all EPA laws and regulations. Disconnect and replace all wires that connect to fan motors. Do not disturb other components. (2) Provide all labor, materials, equipment, controls and all incidental material and work necessary for the installation and proper operation, including connections to electrical power supply and interconnecting ductwork including controls (analog and direct digital), for all new A/C equipment. Replacement of the equipment shall be as in accordance with equipment schedule shown in "Attachment A"
