The work covered by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS includes the following: Installation of new duplex pump sanitary lift station at the School and 4,940 L.F. of directionally drilled 4 PVC forcemain. Forcemain installation to occur inside the Public-Right-of-Way on the north side of U.S. Route 20. Installation to include new sanitary manhole to receive forcemain discharge and new 8 PVC gravity sewer connection (35 L.F.) upstream of existing City of Ashtabula sanitary sewer MH 18-A (#1071) per the Ohio EPA approved plans. The existing wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) at the school to be decommissioned per local health department guidelines and requirements. In accordance with Ohio Revised Code 153.54, the contractor shall file with the bid a bid guaranty in the form of either: 1) a bond for the full amount of the bid, or 2) a certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid. Bid security furnished in Bond Form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The Project shall be substantially complete on December 31, 2025 and totally complete by January 31, 2026.
