The City of Creedmoor is soliciting the services of interested qualified Geotechnical Engineering firms to accomplish the project outlined in this RFQ. This project is to be performed in accordance with the provisions contained in this Request for Statement of Qualifications. Please submit a statement of qualifications to provide Geotechnical Engineering services required for the design phase, and construction phase, for the 2025 Street Reconstruction Project. This Project includes a Geotechnical Study including field borings along the street reconstruction segments and the analysis of this field date to determine the most cost effective repair or reconstruction section. The scope also includes construction phase testing of street subgrade and flexible base. This project is anticipated to be funded by City of Creedmoor block grant funds. Scope of Services: The City of Creedmoor will require the selected firm to provide: Design Phase Services Consultant shall provide both a geotechnical engineering report and an executive summary for any completed subsurface exploration, laboratory testing or geotechnical analysis. The Consultant's submittals shall be in a format approved in advance by the City of Creedmoor. The geotechnical engineering report shall include, as applicable, the following field and laboratory information: Discussion of geotechnical analysis Geotechnical recommendations for street repair or reconstruction Boring Logs Density and moisture content of undisturbed samples Soil classification data Other information as requested by City of Creedmoor Prior to submitting a final report, the Consultant shall submit a draft report to the City of Creedmoor for review and approval. The geotechnical investigation shall be done is accordance with the TxDOT Geotechnical Manual and applicable AASHTO testing and design standards Work shall be performed at project sites as directed by the City of Creedmoor The schedule for the work to be performed will be specified in the Task Order. The information provided from the geotechnical report is expected to be used by the City of Creedmoor for street repair and reconstruction. At least two (2) consultants will be short-listed for interviews. The evaluation criteria to be used for the short-listing and final selection are outlined below. The City of Creedmoor reserves the right to abandon or terminate any contract at any time and either re-advertise services or utilize its own forces. The Coty of Creedmoor also reserves the right to accomplish services for future phases on all projects with the selected consultant, selected another consultant, or utilize its own forces. The City of Creedmoor will not hold a briefing. All information is contained within this RFQ and on the City of Creedmoor website. If additional information is deemed necessary, it will be posted on the same web page as this RFQ and will be labeled as an update. Consultants interested in this RFQ are responsible for checking for updated information. Bid and Construction Phase Services Review and respond to submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and other construction Conduct inspection site visits as necessary to conduct testing of subgrade, flexible base, and HMAC is in general conformance with the contract The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
